While browsing I came across Power and it immediately grabbed my attention. It’s the new book by famed photography Platon, who’s best known for his portraits of presidents and world figures. Needless to say the photography is amazing, but equally so is the book itself. I especially love the cover typography, straight and to the point in a documentation/archeologist style.

Lovelies is a concept brand developed by design student Lindsey Nichols. The intent of the brand is to communicate the idea of handmade and hand crafted. Her execution does this very well through the use of hand-stitching and collage all to focus on the idea of well-crafted pieces. Continue…
